Jurassic World - Raptor

This is a custom heavily modified/re-sculpted + repaint and I made it into a random Raptor from JP saga.

Hope you like it, you can get the model I used at Amazon here: (Schleich Velociraptor) www.amazon.com/Schleich-14524-… I had to remove the feather like things on their arms for both raptors (used a hobby knife, careful, those things do bite kids!), applied some putty glue to add texture and repainted, now you can't tell where they were.
Also cut the right arm and reposition it pointing down, resculpted the joint (for obvious reasons). Cut the neck of the raptor in 3 different pieces and heated the rubber with a small oven to make it flexible so I could put a wire inside for the pose I wanted, glued the neck pieces back and took extra unwanted material out again with a hobby knife, then used some epoxie putty to reshape and resculpt the entire neck section (using as reference the parts there from the original design) glued on a different direction. Added texture and folds to the skin and finally paint it.

Hasbro Vrs PAPO - Dino Toys out thereOk, so this is supposed to be a journal entry to actually say something interesting. But truth is it’s quite a lot harder and difficult than it seems. To begin with there are so, SO many things I want to say I’m pretty sure I’ll end up choosing the most trivial ones. Like for instance, Dinosaur toys. More precisely, Hasbro Jurassic World toy line AND “papo” figurines.
 
So... let’s head back to the main topic, and the thing is, as we all know, Jurassic world was a huge hit among fans and everyone else alike, becoming one of the top 3 movies on all history, and, Hasbro was in charge to bring up those amazing action figures of dinosaurs and others so we could be happy, but turns out, they didn’t. Don’t get me wrong, I love Hasbro as much as it’s possible, I hate StarWars (*yes, I do, so bite me, I’m a StarTrek fan*), but I do absolutely LOVE some of the main Hasbro lines like Transformers or My Little Pony (from G1 to this
